OVERVIEW

A 4U 19" rack transit case in a genuinely small form factor, built the way a composite structure should be built: MIL-SPEC carbon fiber and Kevlar™ prepreg, autoclaved under high temperature and pressure, bonded with MIL-SPEC adhesive to 6061 aluminum frames.

The MIL-SPEC epoxy in our prepreg system is more advanced than ballistic epoxy, with better impact and abrasion resistance. That matters over a service life measured in deployments rather than months.

The weight difference is small—approximately one to two pounds over some alternatives. In return, the case uses swappable shock mounts matched to the equipment inside to reduce vibration and shock reaching the payload. It is also built with a fundamentally different material system and manufacturing process.

An impact hits the outer shell. What matters is how much of it reaches the equipment inside.

Each stage takes a share of the energy — the carbon and Kevlar™ prepreg shell, the steel frame that spreads the load, then the shock mounts. The mounts are swappable, so they can be matched to the equipment they carry.

Energy is reduced at every stage, not eliminated. Some still reaches the payload. The point of the stack is how much does not.
